Subjects Taught
Fourth Grade

I first attended Walters State Community College where I graduated with an Associate of Science Degree  in Elementary Education-Interdisciplinary Studies.  After Walters State, I transferred to East Tennessee State University to complete my education. At ETSU I majored in Elementary Education(K-6). I graduated from ETSU with my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education in May of 2010. I am now in the midst of a Masters of Curriculum and Instruction program at Tusculum College.

Throughout my college years I worked at Manley Baptist Church's preschool learning center. During my time there I taught three, four, and five year old children. Currently, I teach fourth grade reading, language arts, and science. I am now in my third year of teaching at Union Heights in the fourth grade.

I was born in Hamblen County and moved to Grainger County as a teenager. It is there that I graduated from Rutledge High School. After high school I attended Walters State and recieved my Associates Degree. I then decided to transfer To ETSU to finish my Bachelor's Degree. I am now in a Masters program through Tusculum College. After college I married Jake, my high school sweet-heart. We attend Arrowhead Church and love to spend time with our friends and family. We have a dog, Lola, whom we love very much. We recently moved back to Hamblen County and feel very blessed to be in such a wonderful place.
